The Legend of The Heartsick Lover
Written by Chris Zeid
Have you heard The Legend of The Heartsick Lover?
A woman that befell a ghastly horror
Half-moon night was when her lover discovered the red color
In death without her lover was true torture
She wished not evanesce into the beyond
Her place, she knew, was with her darling
But she made a mistake and into an in-between she became bond
Now all alone and in sorrow from their parting
Aches of reuniting, her lover she must seek
Blonde hair patchy and bloodstained
Left eye bloodshot, right eye dangling against her cheek
A gruesome sight unable to be wholly explained
Proclaim you are her lover lying in wait
She just may hearken
But when she finds you are not, there shall be a horrific fate
Stealing you into abyss to the close of your curtain
Birthed from this tale, a game came to be
Testing their chances as they play
Calling her name while sending their plea
Wondering what may happen from what they say
Dare you partake?
